Hi there! My name is Nicole, and I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals. That love started when I was a little girl and has only grown stronger over the years.

My very first job was at a cat boarding facility, and that early experience set me on a path working with animals. I later earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and have spent the past six years as a professional dog groomer, along with three years working in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant.

Now I’m excited to begin a new chapter as a small business owner!

I recently opened The Grooming Shack, my own private dog grooming salon located right here in my hometown of Everson, Washington. The salon is uniquely built inside a converted travel trailer that I transformed into a cozy, fully functional grooming space designed to give dogs a calm, low-stress experience.

At The Grooming Shack, I work with one dog at a time (or multiple dogs from the same family). This allows me to give each pup my full attention and create a relaxed environment without the noise and stress of a busy grooming shop.

You’ll never find kennel or cage dryers here — just patient, gentle care tailored to each dog’s comfort and needs.

My goal is to work closely with you to make sure your dog looks and feels their best, while supporting healthy skin and coat care.
